Serenity Baptist Church

Monday Nights:   A group of ladies started a visitation ministry on Monday nights.  They go out witnessing, and visiting nursing homes, hospitals and anyone that might be sick or lonely.  Out of this ministry, several of the ladies have a group, "Called Out" and will be happy to go and witness in song.

The Lord has commissioned each of us to share the good news.  
Matthew 28:18-20 "All power is given unto me in heaven and earth.  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost.  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world" amen.  

It is our hearts desire to share the love and forgiveness to others that Our Lord and Savior has shown us.  Even if you don't know Him, He is willing to love and forgive you.  All you need to do is to seek his will and ask Him to come into your heart, and believe in Him and He will forgive your sins.

John 15:16, Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. 

We believe that the Lord wants to use each of us who are willing to be used by Him. We enjoy witnessing for God everywhere we go, and pray that through it someone that is sick, lost, or lonely may be brought to God's kingdom.  All in all, we just want to lift up Jesus for He said, "that if I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto Me".

We have found through the minisity that not only do we lift the spirits of those we visit, we also have been blessed by the visit.  We are true believers in prayer and we know that prayer works.
